Kylie Rodger, R.TCM.P. is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Certified Pranic Healer, Reiki Practitioner, a Mindfulness and Metta Meditation Teacher, and most recently a student of Craniosacral Therapy. The guiding philosophy for Kylie’s practice is to provide a safe, inclusive, compassionate, and empowering space for individuals to be seen and heard, to decompress, and to blossom into their greatest vision for themselves. She believes that your body holds the innate wisdom to heal itself, but we could all use a helping hand from time to time. Kylie tunes into the energetic patterns being held within your body using the framework of the Chinese medicine (meridians, acupuncture points, yin, yang, qì, and blood), and uses acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, energy work, bodywork, and Chinese herbal medicine to give your body support and guidance to initiate its healing process.

Kylie’s practice which tends to focus on nervous system regulation, mental and emotional wellbeing, navigating the human existence, digestive health, gynecological health, fertility, stress, sleep, pain, and the maintenance of good health.

The herbal formulas used within Kylie’s practice come from the Shānghán Zábìng Lùn 傷寒雜病論 which is the works of Zhāng Zhòngjǐng 張仲景, a Chinese physician from the Han dynasty. She studies the Lóngshā Xuépài 龙砂学派 lineage with Dr. Eran Even, Dr.TCM, Ph.D. who teaches Jīngfāng 經方 Classical Herbal Medicine as taught by Professor Huáng Huáng 黄煌, his doctoral advisor from the International Jingfang Institute of the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.

The style of acupuncture that Kylie most often utilizes is called Neoclassical Acupuncture. This style involves the palpation of the abdomen and acupuncture channels of the arms and legs to assess how the qì is flowing within the body. This allows one to find areas where the qì isn’t flowing optimally. The body is the guide for treatment and it gives instant feedback after needle insertion so we can assess how things are changing in real time. This system often uses minimal needles which is wonderful for needle sensitive folks, and often patients report dropping into a deeper state with this style.

Before going to Chinese medicine school, Kylie spent 7 years training and getting certified in a school of medical qigong called Pranic Healing. Her teacher, Jenett Ashley, is a direct disciple of the schools founder, Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui. She has since received her Tibetan Usui Reiki level 3 with Shawn Durocher. The practices of acupuncture, Pranic Healing, and Reiki all merge within her practice, giving her the ability to treat the physical body and more subtle energetic biofields simultaneously.
